Old Governor's Mansion
Old but not the first. As the second mansion to occupy this space, the Old Governor's Mansion was built in 1929 and furnished with the finest appointments. Today, it stands as a look back into the life of Louisiana's fearless leaders and how they lived.

Governor's Mansion
The official residence of the Governor of Louisiana and his family, it overlooks Capitol Lake. Tours are offered to the public to showcase the twelve bedrooms, eighteen baths, two kitchens and one kitchenette, two dining rooms, one breakfast room and more, all designed in traditional plantation style of the 1830s-1860s.
